THE FLORIDA BREWERIES REPORT – OCTOBER 2025

The Data: The Florida Breweries Report reflects data published by the Florida ABT, which is available online here, as of the date of publication. The ABT monthly publishes the taxpaid sales for each brewery and distributor. Unfortunately, the ABT does not publish breweries’ sales to distributors. This means that the Florida Breweries Report reflects only breweries’ taxpaid sales, which are generally made in its taproom. Each October, breweries with lapsed licenses and no taxpaid sales within the past 12 months are purged from the Florida Breweries Report.

The New Breweries: Anarchy Ale Works (Alva); Bunky’s Raw Bar & Brewery (Melbourne); Homosassa Brewing Company (Homosassa); Randevou Caribbean Bar & Grill (Orange Park); St Michael’s Brewing Company (Ft Walton Beach).

Brewery Conversions: None. Breweries with a CMB license can sell to licensed distributors. Where a brewery changes its license, the tables below denote the CMBP license with * and the CMB license with ^.

Total Number of Breweries: In October 2025, the total number of active brewery licenses stood at 424 (this number reflects our annual purge of lapsed licenses). Of those, 388 reported taxpaid sales for the month, compared to 387 reporting in October 2024.

Monthly Performance for All Breweries: Month-to-month taxpaid sales was down by 1.08% in October 2025. Compared to October 2024, year-over-year change in monthly sales was down by 4.86%. Total taxpaid sales during the rolling last-twelve-months (LTM) was down by 0.39%. Compared to October 2024, LTM taxpaid sales were down by 7.64% in October 2025.

Average Monthly Production per Brewery: For reporting breweries, the average taxpaid sales per brewery in October 2025 was 21.13 barrels, a monthly increase of 0.30 barrels per brewery. Year-over-year change in monthly sales per brewery was down by 5.11% in October 2025.

Distribution: In October 2025, Florida breweries’ taxpaid sales accounted for 0.79% of all beer sales in Florida (7.9 out of 1,000 beers sold). Florida breweries’ share of all beer sales during the last-twelve-months (LTM) held steady at 0.80%.
